Glycerolmonostearaat (hierna monoglyceride genoemd) is een soort oliechemisch product.Het wordt veel gebruikt in de voedingsmiddelen- en dagelijkse chemische industrie. Het kan worden gebruikt als smeermiddel bij de productie van transparante PVC-deeltjes, als emulgator voor Cream Cosmetics, als anticondensmiddel bij de productie van landbouwplasticfilms en als antistatisch middel bij de productie van verpakkingsfilms.
